emigrated to Canada in 1965 and worked for 30 years
a painter/decorator. He donated his time to decorate a room in Le Manoir
de Ste. Justine Hospital and won 1st prize in quality and
colors on its completion. In 1984, Pietro began studying charcoal
drawing with Nicole Gosselin , art professor in Concordia University. In
1991, he was touched by Hodgkins disease and was forced to stop his
artistic endeavours for a few years. In 1993, he was cured and started
again his way towards artistic development. He began a course in classic
oil painting in McGill University with Professor Charles Tatoussian Garo.
He was involved with many Arts Groups in Quebec and Ontario, and lately
in Florida. He won many awards. He has donated his art to: Royal
Victoria Hospital and Staff, Notre Dame de Pompei Church and also
donated a great painting to the Canadian Cancer Society. This painting
shows a lot of light and hope. Lately he has donated his time in giving
courses to seniors in Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach, Florida.
